Why Magnificent Parent?

Magnificent Parent has been shaped by Peter Rowan's experience as a father, his educational work, his research and the practical philosophy behind the programme.

At its heart is a simple purpose:

To help parents understand what to do, when to do it, and why it matters.

A Life Lived in Practice

Peter’s work is grounded not only in study, but in lived experience. Together with his wife, he raised and educated their daughter largely outside of the conventional education system during her early years.

He was a full-time parent for most of the first 12 years of his child’s life, focusing closely on her development, education, and wellbeing.

During this time, they travelled extensively as a family — including extended journeys through Asia, North Africa, and Europe — creating a rich and varied environment for learning and growth.

Their daughter went on to flourish as a capable, confident, and independent young adult.

We help children build the skills and confidence they need for every stage of life. Through hands-on exploration, meaningful play, and individual support, we spark a lifelong journey of discovery and growth.
